Dan Holiday, played to tough guy perfection by movie star Alan Ladd, was a newspaper reporter turned mystery writer with a unique approach to obtaining new material for his stories. Using an ad placed in the paper he works for, Holiday helps those who contact him, often putting his life on the line. Mix that with his scatterbrained gal Friday named Suzy along with over the top colorful characters played by such radio veterans as Betty Lou Gerson, Lurene Tuttle, Alan Reed, Frank Lovejoy, and Joseph Kerns, and what you have is 6 hours of pulse pounding, nail biting, roller coaster pulp style action.
