December 29th 1977. Shots ring out from a random drive by shooting in Sacramento killing a 51 year old man named Ambrose Griffin. Two weeks later a break-in happened not far from the shooting. Then on January 23, 1978, Teresa Wallin was brutally murdered inside of her home. The murder was reminiscent of a scene from 1888 when Jack the Ripper was mutilating his victims. The police scramble to find the killer but it'll take several more victims and a chance encounter with a witness at a grocery store before they get a lead. The murderer drank the blood of some of his victims which gave him the moniker of the Sacramento Vampire.
