Ryan O’Connell is one of my favourite writers who I've been following online since 2010 when I first discovered Thought Catalog. He was the first person I discovered who wrote honestly about life as a millennial "Internet writer" and he describes himself as a professional feeler of emotions living in Los Angeles. He’s written for Thought Catalog, Vice, The New York Times and many others, as well a writer for MTV’s Awkward TV show. I’m Special is his first book published by Simon & Schuster - and he broke the Internet when published "Coming Out Of the Disabled Closet" on Thought Catalog talking about the topics he decided to write about in the book.
