Barely a grown woman, Rina's marriage to her imaginative and sometimes impractical dreamer husband, continually growing list of children, the impending Great Depression, and the chaos of life in general take over, moulding her into a strong woman not unlike her own parents, proving the apple does not fall far from the tree. Faced with constant moves and less than desirable circumstances, Rina relies on the Lord and her love of David and their children to see her through the toughest of times.
