She is a contributing Editor at New Statesman and writes and speaks on social justice, pop culture, gender issues and digital politics for The Guardian, The New York Times, Vice, Salon, The Nation, The New Inquiry and many more. She is also on the judging panel for the 2016 Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction. We talk about reading, freelancing, the glamourization of writing and our public and private selves.
