The primary goal of this course is to expand the students' vocabulary, improve their understanding of word usage, and develop their ability to decipher complex texts. By the end of the course, students should be able to confidently tackle the verbal sections of various standardized tests and enhance their overall language proficiency. Challenging vocabulary is explored in multiple ways to help learning such as stories, definitions, sentence usage, synonyms, antonyms, quiz questions and using other techniques. In this way, through multiple exposures to words, listeners will build a robust understanding of the vocabulary being learned. This is an ideal way to expand your vocabulary as a goal in itself or to help prepare with assessments with vocabulary components (SAT, ACT, advance placement exams etc.).
