Kembra Pfahler is a performance art legend. Through her glam punk band The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, she has been presenting her work since the late 1980s in museums, galleries, and clubs all over the world. And on October 30, famed NYC venue The Kitchen will be celebrating her career with a film presentation and live performance that traces her from her beginnings through to the present day. Here, she talks with Callie and Emily about art, feminism, and staying true to herself.
