It put a smile on his face. He sat there, wondering how they were going to transport him home, when out of the corner of his eye he spotted the old step van which he had driven when working for the shoe company. He began laughing when it came to a stop in front of him and he jumped out the back with a ramp and set it in place.
He came around to direct the wheelchair and race him up the ramp. He locked him into place and reloaded the ramp, and climbed inside. They’d installed a bench seat for her as well.
