Reza Aslan is the founder of Aslan Media, a social media network for news and entertainment about the Middle East and the world. A scholar of religions, he is currently professor of creative writing at the University of California, Riverside. His books include "Beyond Fundamentalism: Confronting Religious Extremism in the Age of Globalization," "No God But God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam," and "Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth."
