This replay is Emily Weiss, founder of Glossier, who, after build a community on her blog Into The Gloss, saw an opportunity to create a new beauty experience that celebrates and speaks to the customer directly. Founded in 2014, Glossier is a digital-first beauty company with a mission to give voice through beauty and since launching, Glossier has introduced 36 products, opened two permanent stores (NY and LA), raised $186 million in funding, and has welcomed 3 million customers the Glossier community. And that was back in 2019 when we recorded this episode so I’m not sure on those stats now but I'm still loving my 'boy brow' product. Hope you enjoy this conversation.
