Laverty Sparks is a passionate storyteller whose lifelong love of writing has evolved into a vibrant literary career. From crafting short stories and poems as a young reader to penning full-length novels, her journey has always been grounded in a deep affection for the written word. With a degree in Communications and professional experience in media, Laverty balanced her creative ambitions with a working life—until finding unwavering support in her life partner gave her the freedom to pursue writing full-time.
Today, Laverty is the creative force behind That’s All She Wrote, her writing studio based in Frankfort, Indiana. Her work includes two nostalgic short story collections, three contemporary romance/women’s fiction novels, and a historical fiction novel. Her poems and short fiction have appeared in online and print outlets, including Foliate Oak Literary Magazine, Indiana Voice Journal, Flying Island, Pen There, Our Write Side, TreeHouse Arts, Lost Tower Publications, and Rhetaskew Publishing.
Laverty’s women’s fiction novella, Mrs. Findley’s Button Box (2025), marks the beginning of her Private Keepsakes series—a heartfelt exploration of family, memory, and rediscovered truths.
When she’s not writing, Laverty enjoys photography, traveling, decorating, working out, attending concerts, and sharing moments with family and friends.
