Toni Richards was raised in a village in Yorkshire, but now lives in a small town in the South Island of New Zealand. Toni moved directly from school to a city accountancy firm, studying to be, and eventually qualifying as, a chartered accountant. The qualification gave Toni the training needed for writing many reports for senior managers and clients, which led in turn to a sideline composing articles for local newspapers. Reading, and writing, fiction was a welcome diversion to the accumulation of financial facts. “Lucky” Little Strikes Out is Toni's first novel.
