I am a life-long avid reader I've also been writing ever since I declared my major as journalism, and joined the school newspaper in undergrad.I hold a master's degree in communication. And I teach communication, creativity and innovation courses at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington.When I was 21, I discovered who Christ was. Shortly after, I discovered a small Christian bookstore around the corner from my apartment. I read nearly every book in that shop. Many topics, from different authors and denominational bents.To this day my favorite place to be is a bookstore.I write on my Mac, mostly from home but occasionally from a coffee shop or our local crepe cafe.I read mostly from the categories of women's fiction, southern fiction, christian non-fiction and business innovation.
