Today will be that.

I promise the day will end,

no matter how hard.

I fight entropy.

What a meaningless battle.

I will always lose.

I cannot wait still.

I need a notebook and pens

to escape this world.

People are happy

and sad and angry and scared.

People are people.

Depression is like

a cloud hanging over me

impairing my view.

The most important

thing in life are the people

you love the most.

I need to write more,

so I’m writing this haiku.

Boom! Inspiration!

The journey home will

be the hardest thing you’ve done.

We’ll be together.

I hope she sees me

like I used to see myself

when I was healthy.

Re-living the past

is nothing but a waste of

time. Live in the now.
