Bukola Kolajo is a Nigerian author, parenting coach, and child development advocate. She is best known for her nonfiction book Parenting Errors and Consequences (2024), which explores the impact of different parenting styles.
Bukola Kolajo was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. She holds a BA Ed from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Her other qualifications include certificates in Child and Adolescent Care, Case Management, Counselling and Transformational Parenting. These studies laid the foundation for her later work with children and families.
In 2012, Kolajo founded the Ninos Children Foundation. As its director, she has led back-to-school projects, family empowerment programmes, and parenting training programmes. Since 2018, she has also served as a Director at Bancor Outsourcing Limited, combining her humanitarian interests with business leadership.
Kolajo is known as a parenting coach and public speaker. She convenes the annual Raising Total Children workshop, which equips parents and caregivers with practical tools. Her philosophy, "Complete in Christ," informs her approach to family life and social development.
Her book Parenting Errors and Consequences (2024) presents her experience in child counselling and family coaching. It identifies key parenting challenges and shows how different approaches affect child outcomes. It highlights the downsides of disengaged or inconsistent parenting and promotes conscious, present, and authoritative parenting as the key to raising well-balanced children. The book reflects her belief in firm guidance based on care and understanding.
Outside of work, Kolajo enjoys watching family films. She is the author of four books on parenting and child development.
