Isabel Ashdown was born in London and grew up on the south coast of England. She is the author of four novels including the Mail on Sunday award-winning Glasshopper, iTunes bestseller Hurry Up and Wait, and Amazon bestseller Summer of '76. In 2014 Isabel was Writer in Residence at the University of Brighton, where she has also taught on their Creative Writing MA.
