After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he worked on construction site dump truck design at Komatsu Works. He studied for his Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University Graduate School.
At McKinsey, he was engaged in business strategy planning and execution support, design and implementation of new organizations, marketing, and new business launches for 14 years.
In 2002, he co-founded Breakthrough Partners Co., Ltd., with the mission of creating a “global venture from Japan”. Recently, he has been actively working on management reform of large companies.
