In emerald-grey Seattle, the rain mirrors the storm within Valeria Alvarez, a Mexican-American ballet dancer with a prosthetic leg and a suitcase full of dreams.  The audition for Kinetic Pulse, a renowned contemporary dance company, is her precipice — a chance to soar or shatter.  But beneath her fierce determination lies a deep-seated fear: will she be seen for her artistry, or defined by her difference?
Eli Zhang, the visionary choreographer behind Kinetic Pulse, watches from the shadows, captivated by Valeria’s unique grace and quiet strength. Her prosthetic becomes an extension of her expression, a symbol of resilience.  As Valeria earns a coveted spot in the company, a complex bond ignites between her and Eli.  His demanding creative process, a whirlwind of innovative choreography and raw emotional exploration, clashes with her disciplined classical background.  Rehearsals become a tempest of movement and emotion, sparking heated debates, shared laughter, and an undeniable attraction.
