Within the iridescent city of Kynethra, built on platforms of woven light, librarian Seraphina Nox curated living memories. The library’s books pulsed with the spectral echoes of their authors, each page a tangible link to past consciousness.  But when a codex bound in light-absorbing obsidian materializes, its hallucinatory pages mirroring Seraphina’s own dreams, her world unravels.  Touching the codex plunges her into the Spiral Archive, an endless desert of whispering sands and impossible geometries, ruled by forgotten gods.
The Archive is a realm where time flows like liquid mercury, thick with the psychic residue of forgotten ages.  Here, Seraphina confronts Morvith, the Keeper of False Memories, who ensnares her in seductive illusions, and Kthara, the Weaver of Dreamscapes, who traps her in labyrinths of blurring realities.  Her only guide is Pyxis, an enigmatic desert dweller whose form flickers like a heat mirage.  Is he a true ally, a phantom of the Archive’s magic, or something far more complex?
As Seraphina journeys deeper, the sands whisper of a primordial betrayal, a theft that fractured humanity’s connection to the divine.  Fragments of a forgotten truth surface, revealing Seraphina's true identity — she is the reincarnation of Lysandra, an ancient historian whose mind was splintered across the Archive to safeguard forbidden knowledge.
Each recovered memory unveils a devastating truth about the exiled gods, their fall not a punishment, but a desperate act of self-preservation against a looming psychic catastrophe.
