The Language of Lavender Fields

Haunted by the fragrant ghost of her grandmother’s New Orleans apothecary, Haitian-American botanist Geneviève “Genny” Dufort arrives in Provence seeking solace and a connection to her ancestral heritage.  Drawn by the region’s unique lavender varieties, her research grant becomes a quest to honor her grandmother’s legacy of herbal healing. Armand Dupuis, a French-Algerian farmer, embodies the very soul of Provence.  Bound to his family’s struggling lavender estate, he carries the weight of generations past.  His connection to the land is visceral, a silent symphony of sun-baked earth and the fragrant whispers of lavender.
