WoJo Holdings, LLC Co-Founders Marianne Chester, Stroudsburg, PA Debra S. Jean, Stroudsburg PA and Tom Rhiel, Greenwood Village, CO have published an anthology of personal memoirs by a diverse group of women writers.
Kaleidoscope™ WoJo's Story
This project began with three business people deciding to write a book about the challenges that women face in the business world. Through many conversations the intent evolved into exploring the challenges women face in general through personal memoirs.
Themes were developed and contests were administered and women writers began submitting their essays. Prize money in the form of $100.00 was offered for the best memoirs for themes such as Advice to Younger Self, Summer Vacation, Coming of Age in the 60s & 70s, Holiday Story, Did That Really Happen and the always open for submissions, Miscellaneous Memoirs.
Every writer who submitted to us had the opportunity to have an interview published online, providing them with exposure. If a writer had their own website we would acknowledge it and other social media accounts they may be using.
The stories In My Shoes are a culmination of the best essays from our contests and Miscellaneous Memoirs. The writers are a wide cross section of diverse women representing different age groups, geographic locations, ethnicities, backgrounds, and experience. The stories contain a wide range of emotions from the somber to the hilarious and everything in between. What they all contain is heart.
What people are saying: By women, for women, strength and grit, you are not alone.
