Author’s serialized novel, Windswept, has more than 5.2 million reads on the popular site Wattpad. Set in an alternate dystopian future after the sun has gone away. Technology has failed to advance, and parts of the United States operate just like the old West. Gangs have formed that govern any communities trying to survive, offering their “protection” from the Wild in exchange for these communities’ food, products, etc. HBO’s hit new show Westworld is sci-fi meets the Old West and is bringing both teens and adults to the Western genre. Would also be a choice book for fans of the CW’s Legends of Tomorrow and the beloved cult classic Firefly. Author has roughly 4,000 followers across social media platforms and is working to increase that number. Her debut, Cold Summer, will release in May 2017.
