Super-talented white witch Penzi Munro is back again to fight evil in another four magical mysteries.
As ever, her handsome sidekick, Felix the shape shifting leopard, is here by her side to lend support and protection.
Just when Penzi thought she could take life easy and settle down with her two brothers in the little French seaside town of Beaucoup-sur-Mer, the powers of wickedness and greed strike the human heart again.
6 : The Witch who Foiled the Plot — At last Felix can keep Penzi out of danger. Or can he? With enough to live on for the rest of their lives, they no longer need to work for a living. However, when evil comes knocking at the door again, Penzi once more has to choose whether to take up the fight for good or rest on her laurels. Her new friends, who own vineyards and a distillery in Cognac, have fallen foul of the powers of greed and wickedness. Well, you know our Penzi. What do you think she'll do? Let it go, or throw herself into the battle?
7 : The Witch who Hated Halloween - Penzi’s always hated Halloween. This year it’s the pits, the worst one ever. Her supernatural arch enemy is out to get her. While Penzi is busy cleaning up the mess left in the town cemetery by local vandals, her foe launches his attack. Once Penzi becomes aware of his assault, she knows she's tempting fate by carrying on with the work. However, La Toussaint (All Saint’s Day) is one of the most important festivals of the year in France. The townspeople of Beaucoup-sur-Mer can’t be allowed to find their holy site in such a state of desecration. Penzi and Felix must see the job through to the end and ready the vaults and graves for the next day’s family visits despite the mounting danger. This time it's a fight to the death between Penzi and her arch enemy.
8 : The Witch who Risked the Shot — Accident or grisly murder? Either way, the body goes missing. To lose one body may be regarded as carelessness, but to lose two smacks of intent. After a harrowing Halloween, Penzi’s had enough of villains, but the powers of darkness will not leave the little French seaside town of Beaucoup-sur-Mer in peace. The mayor sets Penzi and Felix, her leopard shapeshifting sidekick, the task of finding a solution to the explosion of the wild boar population. What starts out as a carefree environmental study ends in unimaginable horror.
9 : The Witch who Picked a Poppy — Delicate white petals flutter in a summer’s breeze. All the while, cruel hearts beat to the rhythm of an evil drum. White witch Penzi and her assistant Felix, the shapeshifting leopard from the Middle Congo, are no strangers to wickedness, but they don’t expect their carefree trip into the French countryside for a family picnic to be the prelude to yet another batch of murders. Say France and poppies and most people conjure up a vision of the scarlet wildflowers of the battlefields of World War One and our remembrance of all who died there. However, a century later, it’s the violet-tinged white poppy that takes center stage. It's an important contributor to the country’s economy. But all is not well in the local poppy fields. Once again Penzi heeds the call to restore the balance of good and evil in the surroundings of her new home town of Beaucoup-sur-Mer. Felix tries but cannot hold her back. Penzi stays true to her vocation. Of course, Felix gives in and is there to help and protect her.
