God wants us to know that above all else, He loves and adores us. When the knowledge of God fuels the love for God, we are more equipped to serve and honor Him with our lives.
As our understanding of God increases and what He wants us to know is revealed to us through the Holy Spirit, the majesty of His infinite excellence and love shines. This understanding helps us to adore and appreciate His essence and the greatness of the gifts He has given to us. In 2 Corinthians 4:6, Paul wrote: “For God, who said: ‘Let the light shine out of darkness!’” And this is the same God who made His light shine in our hearts to let us know that His own divine greatness (glory) is seen in the face of Christ!
