When a seed of doubt blossoms into chilling certainty, Ashka discovers Vyrn’s true purpose: not liberation, but manipulation.  He is the architect of her gilded cage, a tool of the oppressive Governor who preaches unity as the path to peace while tightening his grip on the colony’s minds.
Driven by unsettling premonitions and the echoes of a forgotten past, Ashka joins forces with Kristy, a hardened engineer whose prosthetic arm is a symbol of defiance, and Devin, a former government scientist haunted by the ghosts of his colleagues, driven mad by early iterations of the Cognilocks.  Together, they embark on a perilous mission to dismantle the Cognilock Hub, the pulsating heart of the mind-meld.
