30 years on from the death of his grandfather, Alwyn Harding Jones inherited a book very dear to him: a copy of Captain John Hughes, Twthill, Caernarfon's diary, in his own handwriting. It describes a troublesome voyage when his ship, The Inverness, was burned in 1918.
