Vivianne is part of the Mariposa now, and she thinks she's found a new family. Despite her newfound happiness, issues with Archer, with Les torment her. When Les's younger sister is kidnapped by the enemy of Night City themselves, she comes up with a reckless plan in hopes of making a dangerous deal to save the other girl. When she's gone, though, worse things will strike the Roost, and the Union has other plans for her. Yet, there's a new group of people, who Vivianne isn't sure will side with her, or the Union.
