This imbalance can lead to students excelling in literary analysis but struggling with English language skills. Our book argues for a symbiotic relationship between literature and language, suggesting integrated teaching approaches to improve education and learning outcomes.
Through practical suggestions, we aim to address the poor academic performance observed at secondary and tertiary levels in Nigeria. By fostering a comprehensive understanding of both literature and language, students can achieve greater proficiency and success.
