  • Lev Volkhas quoted2 years ago
These processes spawn three core questions. The first asks whether organisms are just algorithms and whether life is just data processing in actuality. The second queries which of consciousness and intelligence has more value. While the religious person would follow a route that would conform to the specified norms, the spiritual person would merely go through the process of feeling what is right and what is wrong and these feelings would guide them to be a better person. Religion in this sense becomes a rigid manual for a human as he/she tries to live a life that won’t lead them to eternal hell.

Holy Scriptures from different religions around the world are hence an issue because they allow some to get all the power and some to lose all of theirs and this creates a vicious cycle of losses.

Also, among the several threats encountered by techno-humanists, lies the consideration that techno-humanism also validates the will of humans, approaching it as the nail bearing the weight of the whole cosmos.
