Have you ever been through an experience, so painful, that you just wanted to bury it and pretend it never happened?
Has your past kept you from thriving because you carry it like luggage?
Read these life stories and see how one woman decided to transform her life instead of being destroyed by painful circumstances.
Tami D. Johns grew up in southeast Michigan, the middle child of parents who were hard workers and stressed the importance of education and Christian ethics. Her parents instilled a sense of strength and pride in her as well as the understanding that because of her skin color, she would have to work twice as hard to be seen as half as good. Her love of nature, which figures largely in this book, was developed by spending countless hours outdoors where she connects with her higher self.
Those who know Ms.Johns describe her as a very spiritual and empathetic person. She openly shares her journey of self-discovery (lessons) in hopes that it will encourage readers to do likewise.
