Again, this is how I believe YouTube measures authority:
Keyword Relevancy
Accumulated Watch Time
Relative Audience Retention

Dominate your own videos in Suggested and you’ll increase your accumulated Watch Time and create a sticky channel for viewers. Which in turn sends a signal to YouTube (this is an engaging channel). Which of course can lead to even more authority.

Allow me to mention an obvious fact, the more videos you publish, the better your results will be

A card can be added to a video at any point within the video. However, you can only add a total of three cards per video.

Combine engagement and substance and you’ll win.

To review, here are the 5 steps of my creation ritual
Step 1: Identify the video topic.
Step 2: Identify the target keyword phrase.
Step 3: Select one or two focus words from the keyword phrase.
Step 4: Create an awesome thumbnail using the focus keyword.
Step 5: Verbally mention focus words with the first 15 seconds of the video.

Being different often plays a big role when it comes to creating engaging content. Being different, or creating content that is different, makes you unique and helps you rise above the noise. It is a pathway that has led to so much success in numerous fields, not just YouTube. So, fly that freak flag and share what’s on the inside.
