“The Tragedy of Fotheringay: Founded on the journal of D. Bourgoing, physician to Mary Queen of Scots, and on unpublished ms. documents” by Mary Monica Maxwell-Scott
Mary, Queen of Scots, also known as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scotland, was Queen of Scotland from 14 December 1542 until her forced abdication in 1567. This book is meant to be the private diary of the queen's personal physician. Though some creative liberties have been taken in this text, it gives an interesting look into the life of one of British history's most polarizing figures.
