Ramesses II is historically mentioned to have been born c. 1303 BC. He is mostly referred to as “Ramesses the Great.”
He was the third Egyptian pharaoh who ruled from 1279 BC to 1213 BC. He belonged to the 19th Dynasty.
In the Egyptian Empire, Ramesses was believed to be the most celebrated the greatest, and the strongest of the pharaohs.
Ramesses II was regarded as “Great Ancestor” by his successors and the later Egyptians in Egypt.
