Over the years, Fr Joe Dunn was involved in the production of 350 films in 75 countries, mainly on Church related topics. In the course of his work, he had to face up to and think carefully about most of the major issues facing the Church in the world today, often with the input of interesting and well-informed people from all walks of life.
This book offers his sometimes controversial musings on a wide range of those issues, including Pope John Paul II and leadership in the Church, the making of bishops, celibacy, women in the Church, birth control, war and violence, divisions in the Church, Roman centralism and Vatican politics – all still challenging topics in today's church.
