Hornsea, a seaside town, is the scene of a delicate, complex and tormented romantic relationship between Klara and Davis. The two are apparently very different on social extraction, sensitivity and character but an irresistible force leads them to know each other and to appreciate each other. Caught in their living environments, the characters embark on a journey of mutual knowledge marked by painful experiences of the past that re-emerge little by little and which will end up characterizing an original, free relationship and progressive liberation from conventions and constrains.
