“This book represents the love of cooking!”
Throughout the years of preparing food for my family and friends, I often reminisce about my mother and grandmother in their own kitchens preparing meals with ease. Their food was so delicious! I watched as we and others happily ate their food, smiling, and even humming at times. That was what we called “good eatin” right there!
They were both good ole southern cooks, and I learned a lot from them. However, my cooking style took on a little different flair. My style became more “out of the box,” though not literally. I started making somewhat easier dishes, a little less southern, but just as flavorful and tasty! In preparing my dishes, I focused on simplicity and applied it to breakfasts, casseroles, appetizers, and much more. I can keep pace with the best of southern cooks, but my speciality is easy!
The love that flowed from my grandmother & mother prepared me for this cookbook. It prepared me to follow and pursue my love of cooking and making others happy through it. Therefore, I dedicate this cookbook in honor of the two most important beauties of my life.
