Multi-billionaire, Jensen Hazard, has just opened an Academy for 13-year-old human children and robots. However, none of the pupils know what they are. Nico is one of these pupils. When the Academy's collective tasks progress into more competitive and dangerous activities, it seems that Hazard is trying to pit robots against humans. Why is he doing this? Nico struggles to find out, but is he a robot or a human?
