William Hodgen Jnr. was one of the most well-respected and competent architects in Queensland from the late 1890s through until the 1940s. He was a prolific architect. During the time he practiced in Toowoomba he completed over 700 projects.

This book provides a glimpse into the work of William Hodgen (and his partners) and the role these buildings, their owners and the architect played in the history of the area and how they changed the face of Toowoomba.

The book includes colour reproductions of architectural drawings, newspaper articles and both historical and contemporary images of selected buildings.
