For more than two thousand years, the Pantheon has represented the only Roman construction to remain intact over the course of the centuries. Its history is inextricably linked to the history of the Eternal City. The Pantheon also inspired the greatest architects of the Renaissance, to the point that Raphael asked to be buried here.
