While on my trip to Japan on July 19, 2018, I just completed reading a book about Coyote Cry that was written by Byrd Baylor and the artwork by Symeon Shimin. The story was about a a young boy named Antonio, who says that he hates Coyote. When I finished reading it I started thinking what if a young girl who has no name was suddenly abandon on July 19, 2018 and is adopted by a pack of Coyotes and then finds herself as its leader and saves the lives of nearby. The story was also inspired by Julie of the Wolves written by Jean Craighead George and art work by John Schoenherr. This story is dedicated to my niece Elina Regalado and to the people at AMSEC, Huntington Ingalls Industries and my family.
