The Shadow Forge

Beneath the cobbled streets of Lumina, a city bathed in perpetual moonlight, lies a secret: the Shadow Forge. For generations, the Moonlit Forge Keepers have wielded the moon's power, crafting artifacts of extraordinary magic.  But this power is a double-edged sword, capable of both creation and destruction.
Sixteen-year-old Ardyn Elverson, a simple blacksmith’s apprentice, stumbles upon a hidden legacy when he discovers a moonstone hammer and a cryptic parchment.  Suddenly, the whispers of the Forge Keepers become his reality, pulling him into a world where moonlight is not just illumination, but the very source of magic.
The Shadow Forge is now the center of a brewing war. The Cinder Covenant, a rogue faction of Forge Keepers, seeks to corrupt the moon's power and plunge Lumina into eternal darkness. Ardyn, caught in the crossfire, must embrace his heritage and learn to wield lunar energy.  His task: to protect Lumina and maintain the delicate balance between light and shadow.
Guided by the enigmatic forgemaster Selene Cadfael, Ardyn’s training is a trial by fire. He must decipher the Forge’s ancient language, a system of runes and symbols pulsating with celestial energy. Each swing of his hammer becomes a step in his transformation, from apprentice to a nascent Forge Keeper. But the closer he gets to mastering the Forge's power, the more he realizes its seductive potential for corruption.
As the Cinder Covenant’s influence spreads, their twisted creations drain the life from the land, turning vibrant gardens into desolate wastelands. Ardyn must confront not only the Covenant but also his own inner demons, the intoxicating allure of unchecked power.  He is aided by Elara, a young historian whose research into Lumina's hidden past unveils vital secrets.  Together, they must race against time to uncover the truth before the crimson glow of a blood-red eclipse amplifies the Forge’s power and unleashes the Nightsmith’s ultimate weapon—an artifact capable of extinguishing Lumina’s light forever.  Ardyn’s choice will determine not only his own fate, but the destiny of an entire city.
