Dark chocolate
Dark chocolates offer a good amount of antioxidants and prove to help prevent the development of tooth decay, heart disease, type-2 diabetes, and even depression. Nevertheless, dark chocolates are still under the category of high calorie foods.
While dark chocolate can be added to pregnancy diet, it is not advisable to have plenty more than the required calorie intake. Consumption should always be regulated. A square or two of dark chocolate daily is enough to satisfy pregnant women’s sugar cravings.
