An engaging story of an itinerant family doctor with an inclination to resist complacency who opposed the questionable operating ethics of the pharmaceutical companies, challenged current intervention obstetric practice, favoured natural childbirth, pioneered the first Telemedicine network in the Southern hemisphere with remote Aboriginal communities.
A lifelong interest in the delivery of health services, combined with an irrepressible sense of adventure motivated the author to work in many settings including Papua New Guinea, China, the Philippines, Hong Kong and the remote Northern Territories of Australia.
