Forgotten gods. A forbidden cookbook. A trickster’s insatiable hunger.
Loryth, a fallen deity of shadows and laughter, wanders a monochrome world, a faded echo of their vibrant past.  Millennia after a brutal coup stripped them of their divine essence, they stumble upon a macabre treasure: a cookbook bound in human skin, its pages etched with recipes for devouring gods.  Each dish promises not just sustenance, but a return to power, a divine inheritance served on a platter of sacrilege.
With the first taste of Ambrosia Salad, imbued with the tears of a forgotten moon goddess, Loryth’s power reignites. The world explodes back into color, but it's a vibrant, unsettling imitation, fueled by the echoes of consumed deities.  Their laughter, once mischievous, now rings with a chilling hollowness, each consumed god a step further down a path of intoxicating corruption.
Meanwhile, Kael, a blind baker, feels a phantom tremor, a disturbance in the delicate celestial balance. Guided by the fading whispers of Atropos, the goddess of fate, and allied with Wynona Quinn, a historian obsessed with forgotten myths, Kael embarks on a desperate quest.  They must unravel the cookbook’s sinister secret before Loryth’s final feast ushers in a terrifying new pantheon.
Their pursuit leads them through bustling spice markets, clandestine libraries guarded by spectral librarians, and ancient ruins haunted by the wails of devoured gods.  They face shadowy accomplices and treacherous landscapes, each step a gamble against the thinning veil between realms.
They soon discover a horrifying truth: the cookbook is not a stolen artifact, but a trap, each recipe a measure of poison designed to unravel its consumer.  Loryth, oblivious, stands on the precipice of consuming the last remaining gods, their form pulsating with stolen power, their laughter a chilling dissonance.
The final confrontation takes place within the crumbling ruins of the celestial court.  Kael’s blindness, once a vulnerability, becomes his strength, allowing him to perceive the cracks in Loryth’s stolen power.  Wynona’s knowledge disrupts the rituals, severing Loryth’s connection to the consumed gods.
The ensuing battle is a clash of wills, a desperate struggle against the backdrop of a dying pantheon. The choice is Loryth’s: relinquish the power or embrace oblivion. The allure of divinity proves too.
