Vampire after Demise: Encounter

Just decades ago, mankind had finally overcome one great threat known as vampires. With their newfound scientific technology, not only are humans capable of repelling vampire bites, but they can also turn the vampires’ greatest weakness –sunlight –into their weapons, rendering the immortals powerless before the faces of humans.

Because of it, the very way vampires live has changed. Driven into a corner, the blood-feeding creatures now live together as tribes, clinging on anything to ensure the survival of their species.

Gabriel, a young vampire of the current generation, bears responsibility of reviving his race. Nevertheless, the strict routine life that vampires practice nowadays in order to ensure their survival has bored the young vampire, who longs for a free and easy lifestyle. As he performs his duty by hunting for blood for his family, Gabriel wanders off the borders, and there he finds something that should not exists in his life.

A human girl, lying unconscious on a beach, has forgotten anything about herself once she wakes up. But that’s not all. She is hunted, not by vampires that seek revenge on mankind, but humans themselves.

Taking interest in the first human he has ever met, Gabriel protects her instinctively, and is resolved to solve the mystery surrounding the girl regardless of the tension between the two races
