Michelle has spent her life running from any drama that causes emotional pain. Her latest attempt at emotional escape is from her on again off again boyfriend, Tyler. She can’t take the games he’s always playing with both her mind and heart. In order to flee him she chooses to attend a college an hour away from her home.
Newly engaged to Tyler, Michelle leaves her fiancé back home to begin a journey into self-discovery. After settling in at Durham College she feels like she belongs and is finally starting to find inner-peace for the first time in her life. The only problems being the distance from her fiancé is causing a strain in their already fragile relationship, and perhaps an untimely blooming friendship with a boy from her class.
Jax is a bass guitarist for a Christian Rock band. Their friendship has got Michelle thinking that perhaps “those guys” in romance novels do really exist.
