Police brutality has become the accepted average

Confederate flag’s now a symbol of hate groups

Floods in Texas, drought in Silicon Valley

We may be different, but we have more in common;
Let Martin Luther King’s dream never be forgotten.

A diverse city embracing diversity,
Mutual respect bringing an end to animosity.

I envision a utopia where people are free;
Where nobody is judged based on beliefs or creed.

Ignorance is a cancer slowly killing our conscience
Eating away at fading chances of gaining tolerance.

We preach love, but treat diversity as a sin.
