    If you know you’re not going to get back together, then you have to cut ties, and let go. Let the other person be free to heal so they can be available for the person God does have for them.

    One of the best ways to guarantee relational health is to make the relationship proactive, not reactive. Create a vision and set goals for your relationship. Decide to Sabbath. To go on date nights. To give money to those you know need it. Invite your neighbors over for dinner. Let your relationship be an intentional blessing to others.

    True love involves incredible risk. If you want true love, you have to be vulnerable. If you focus on protecting yourself from possible hurt, then you’ll never know the depths and joy of love. They go hand in hand.
    Love is primarily about serving the other person. We don’t always know how the other person will respond, but we do it because Jesus first loved—and served—us.
    IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE LOOKS LIKE, LOOK TO JESUS.

    If love isn’t a commitment, then what’s the point of the vows we say? Unless “til death do us part” really means “til the feelings go away
