Peter’s ex-wife, District Attorney Myra Scot, makes a mistake when she subpoenas little Suzi to come and testify as a prosecution witness against the defendant, Suzi’s friend Tony.

The final courtroom drama when Tony’s case comes to a head shows Suzi’s ingenuity in trying to get both herself and Bernie, her huge canine companion, into the courtroom. What transpires in the courtroom that day amazed the judge, the reporters, and both parties to the criminal case, and was an event that you could never have imagined would have happened.
